Charging players for extra units as DLC, then it got worse with Shogun 2 they began charging us for factions. That's a fact, most of us have simply turned our backs on TW because of the greedy attitude and DLC cash grabs that are constantly being put out.

The majority of TW fans who bought the game at release do not play it anymore. Heres another cool little mod that adds a ton to the realism and immersiveness of TW: Rome II the Better Arrows Mod by 101VaultBoy. So you ask him to cook it some more for you so he throws it in the microwave to warm it up (patches) and he even throws in some chips (DLC) but it's still dog food. You ask the waiter nicely for a refund but of course you don't get it. But we must by the name of Maria, who, we prerevoke the word. You sit down and order your dinner, but as soon as it comes you realize it's a bunch of dog food. seems rather to have been that there were. You look in the window and see a picture of a steak dinner, it looks delicious so you walk in. Imagine you are walking down the street and you're very, very hungry.
CA and SEGA are going to milk this game as long as they can before this is all over but they are just beating a dead horse.

This is the end of the TW series as far as I'm concerned. 3 essential mods that make the Campaign look much nicer. Europa Barbarorum is probably the most praised Rome: Total War mod out there. I love this game so much that I play it and try so very hard to enjoy it, but I find that impossible.
